Why would anybody head across that section of the interstate just to get
stuck. This just didn’t happen over night and I know it’s out of the way to
go north and across but it sure beets setting in this. Good luck to all.

For anyone that does not know: Cars can be fitted to drive in deep water,
but most can not. You need your intake and exhaust to both be higher than
any water that you attempt to ford. Cars are not invincible. Be safe y’all.

This area was told by insurance companies that they were safe and out of
the flood zone, and that insurance was unnecessary. This is far north of the
gulf, however our local community have come together for support, rescue,
food, animal rescue and much more. Pray for us.
